Council fined £75,000 following conviction for health and safety breach (Crown Court)

On 17 November 2016, Powys County Council was fined £75,000 after pleading guilty to breaching section 3(1) of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and regulation 3 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 (SI 1999/3242) at Swansea Crown Court.
