In Willmott Dixon Construction Ltd v Robert West Consulting Ltd [2016] EWHC 3291 (TCC), Coulson J in the Technology and Construction Court (TCC) has refused to allow an amendment to an Answer to a Request for Further Information, finding it had no prospect of success, was late, would require further evidence and risked the trial date.
