CAT extends deadline for CMA to reach determination of price control matters in appeals against leased line price control

On 17 March 2017, the CAT published orders extending the deadline for the CMA to reach its determination on the price control matters referred to it by the CAT regarding the appeals against leased line price control.

On 17 March 2017, the Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) published orders extending the deadline for the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) to reach its determination on the specified price control matters raised in the appeals by TalkTalk and CityFibre against the leased line price control (see Legal update, CAT refers price control matters in appeals against leased line price control ( www.practicallaw.com/w-004-6008) ). The deadline for the CMA to reach a determination on the questions referred by the CAT was 31 March 2017.

Further to a request received from the CMA, the CAT has extended the deadline for the CMA to reach its determination to 4pm on 7 April 2017.
